About Rosie Craig
Born in Long Beach, California, Rosie learned at an early age the importance of a dollar.
Being raised in Natchez, Mississippi shaped the values she holds so dear today…family, hard work and integrity. Weekdays were spent at school, helping with the family’s greenhouse business and attending dance classes. Weekends consisted of roller skating with her father, attending family functions, or traveling with her mother to Rosie’s ballet performances.
It was at Ole Miss that Rosie would meet her husband, Ken and be introduced to the game of golf along with respect for the golf courses. Upon Ken’s graduation from Law School, the couple relocated to Houston, Texas where they began their careers.
After serving several years as Assistant Director of Personnel, Rosie was persuaded to pursue a career in securities which included a variety of products for financial planning. It was her honesty and patience that contributed to successful client relationships which ultimately led to being a top producer.
Their children, Justin and Erin, were born in Houston and enjoyed learning the game of golf at an early age. Family outings were at the many cultural events, professional sports outings, rodeos, and amusement parks.
Rosie began an extensive volunteer career after the family relocated to Tampa, Florida always maintaining a balance between business and family. She served on many executive boards lending her skills in record management, organization and sales. Many times, Rosie rolled up her sleeves and went to work, service which was demonstrated to her by her parents.
Her work did not go unnoticed, for she received numerous recognitions including the State and National levels. Her greatest joy was fulfilling the role of Varsity Golf coach at The Cambridge School for four years. The players she coached were ambassadors of the school, the game and always competed with honor.
Asked to perform some accounting brought Rosie back into the corporate world. She was instrumental in laying the ground work for the accounting department, human resources and later project management while helping “NFSE” (otcbb) go public.
It was her first trip to Western North Carolina that Rosie fell in love with the area as the dogwoods were in bloom. Transylvania County offered a quality of life which her family was seeking. Again, Rosie finds herself wanting to serve others in their real estate investments. The values of integrity and hard work play key roles as she serves her clients.
